Rachel Zoe Pinterest Contest - and I'm joining

Hello everyone , I love to say "hi" to every single one of you.

I'm totally exciting - Rachel Zoe has started a contest on pinterest.
The rules - create three different outfits , containing woman's apparel, shoes, bags, jewelry and accessoires of the pre-fall collection 2012 of Rachel Zoe.
Contest ending on May - here are my three different looks. I hope you like them. Happy day everyone and cross the fingers xoxo

This look is for me classic, elegant and also subtle and sexy. The shoes take up this idea. the gold buckles of the black shoes can also be found back in the golden lock of the black bag.I tried to use a single piece of jewelry as a light eye-catcher that does not distract too much of the black transparent used at the chest part. (also possible would be  a pure golden bracelet) . I've chosen a ring in which old is taken again. The green stones on the other hand are mystic, daring, sumptous and reminds me a bit of YSL.The sun glasses complete the outfit. all in all for me like a modern version of "Breakfast at Tiffany's". And by the way, do you know this..? In my opinion and I guess I'm right, the most famous dress of Holly Golightly has been designed by the high fashion house of Givenchy. What I would do better if I could?  The little detail of the sunglasses should have been gold instead of silver, but I didn't found a one). This outfit would be perfect for New York, Paris, Berlin.

Look number 2 :  I've decided myself to chose a fluffy shirt-dress (recommend for women with perfectly shaped legs). The nude-coloured high heels extend automatically your legs - they are looking longer in chause of the nude and nude.the dress has a pattern like snake skin. The bag has a snake skin pattern detail as well.  Bag and shoes match perfect. The shoe's soles - no surprise -  snake skin pattern, too. The long neck chain fits in gold to the golden lock of the bag. For this outfit I would always recommend a large bag . Especially popular for this kind of style are the bags of Hermes, also known as Birkin Bag and the Balenciaga Motorcylcle Bags. The floppy hat completes the bohemian style for a modern city like New York, L.A. , Berlin or London.

I love to break styles. The black leather military jacket fits perfectly with the long, fluttering silky dress in white and black. It isn't a classical long dress. I would say it is charming and even fresh.  In my mind the black leather sandals are suitable for the "romantic rockabilty style" (that's how I would name this). For me high heels are usually a must have for an outfit for the late evening and night. The material and the design of the shoes are a little bit "rough" (what I was looking for). The bag's chain underlines the "Rock idea". The long earrings have a similar chain like the bag's chain and of course - I wouldn't mix silver and gold together. So there you go, that's my outfit number 3. I would love to wear this in Berlin, London, Dubai and L.A.

o.k. everyone, these are the three different looks. For me fashion is passion and obsession and I would love to see people being creative and authentic, finding a style which underlines the own personality . Fashion and beauty means fun and joy. i hope you like my looks. Collection items all by Rachel Zoe.

xoxo,
Nadine

DAVID YURMAN SUPPORTS JEWELERS FOR CHILDREN

DAVID YURMAN... have you every heard about him and his company....?
I'm so in love with this brand and I would say it's a hot tip for Europe as well.

How sad he has not open a store till yet in Germany .
There are only two sale points in France - Paris and Le Chesnay.

But who is David Yurman..?
He was born on October 12th in 1942 and grew up on Long Island, N.Y. .
In 1980 he founded the high-end Jewelry Company (named by his first and last name) ,recognizing that there are a marketplace for fine crafts and jewelry.
By the mid 80's he made a name for himself with his cable bracelet in sterling silver and gold adorned with colorful gemstones.
This style is typical for him , has become iconic and remains his signature.

The headquarter is still in New York but several boutiques are opening step by step across the states and international (first one has opened in Hong Kong).

His collection contains various jewelries and luxury timepieces for men and women, a gorgeous bridal collection, several fragrances and eyewear.
He combines timeless design and relaxed Amercian luxury.

Let me add - I'm so addicted to DAVID YURMAN and how he is designing.
In my opinion - every piece is like a piece of art.

And do you know what I like about artists? They are passionated for what they do, they love what they do.
In one sentences - there's passion like love and you will feel this in every piece of the brand. In every detail, in every material, in the composition of the design aso aso - there's a reason for everything.

Now the coolest thing : DAVID YURMAN supports Jewelers For Children!!
The Petite Wheaton Rings give back to children in need. A portion of your (!) DAVID YURMAN purchase benefits Jewelers For Children, an organization that thelps children whose lives have been affected by illness, abuse or neglect through key charities, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
(my personal favorites of the Petite Wheaton Rings are : Prasiolite, Morganite and Blue Topaz - from left to the right)

Is there any better reason for buying such a beautiful piece of art?  By every piece of this collection you will help a child.

Jewelers For Children was founded in 1999 by the U.S. jewelry industry with the mission of helping children. Since its inception Jewelers For Children has donated more than $ 37 million to programs benefiting children. Thanks to the continuing generosity of nearly 1,600 jewelry and watch companies, trade organizations, jewelry retail stores. Thank you to all the jewlery consumers as well.
This support has allowed more than 1,200 children to be granted wishes in the U.S. and more than 12,000 to have their wish granted in India.
Thank-you so much!

And now, take a look at the website of DAVID YURMAN, enjoy this beautiful journey and maybe you gonna help some child by your purchase or you will find the suitable engaged ring or the sunglasses you has been looking for the whole time.

(in the picture above are my favorites of the Cable War Collection in Rose Quartz

XOXO, Nadine and don't forget to sparkle like a diamond

La montre Dior VIII Grand Bal modèle plum

I'm freaking out ... !!
Recent news : Dior, the french couture house which was founded in 1946 adds to his Grand Bal line (by the way : launched last year) a special limited edition in 2012!!!!
Only 88 pieces in white ceramic and diamonds - worldwide!!
I repeat - wooooorldwiiiide!!!

For me, the watchmaker of Dior are like artists - each watch is a piece of art.
The watchface is made of white mother-of-pearl, fixed also by tiny pale pink feathers and is set with diamonds to highlight the perfect white ceramic bracelet .

It's clear, it's elegant, it's feminine, it's pure - suitable for every occasion.

Thank you Dior!

Ladies, you would have no more excuss why you came too late, wouldn't you?
I would love to wear this gorgeous jewelry and I would love to take a look on it few times an hour , so no excuss for coming late

Extra Tip : use few drops of Christian Dior Miss Dior Cherie - Eau de Parfum . Launched first time in 2005 and re-created by Francois Demachy  in 2011. The new version is more subtle and charmant.

Dubai ♥

Hello everyone and good to  see you back on my blog.

Today I'm talking about travelling and the latest news.
I guess everyone has heard about Dubai.
And in my opinion all of us have favorite places in the world. Mine is definitely - no surprise - Dubai !

o.k., here we go.Let me guess which ones are yours:
Mhhhh, St. Tropez? New York? Paris ? St. Barth? Capetown? Maledives? L.A.? Phuket? Miami?...or ? I'm not pretty sure, but what I have to add : All of them have in common that they are very popular, they are high service oriented and they are beautiful dream places as well.

But what about Dubai ? and the flair that surrounds this special place? why this Emirate is fascinating so many people around the whole world?

First of all - everyone knows the fairy tale "Arabian Nights" aka One Thousand And One Nights.

Second - who hasn't heard about "the World", "the Palm" (both are artificial archipelagos of various small islands)
and the Burj Al Arab (the best-known, most popular and most extravagant hotel in the world which looks like a painting) and Burj Khalifa (the tallest man-made structure in the world), the Mall of the Emirates, the Ski Hall aso aso?

I will never forget how it looked like when I saw for the first time its skyline and the lights. Amazing and impressing!

The service there is everywhere high oriented from head-to-toe, the people are pretty polite. The streets and the buildings are over the top clean, everything is very comfortable.
For every need and every wish there is a solution.
You will feel like a princesse, a queen, a prince or a king in a world which could seem unreal, but it isn't.
I'm so in love with Dubai and I hope to come back quite soon.

Recently I have read that there are plans to build a new hotel which is so freaking exciting to me!
I gonna tell you :
It is the "Dubai Water Discus Underwater Hotel", perched in the water and having a pretty view from every room (I guess 21) outside of the flora and fauna of the water.

Look at the pictures - isn't it beautiful and special?

All I can say is "wooooow".

The last picture shows few favorite places during my last trip to Dubai

All in all, I wish you a great day, afternoon, evening or night.
XOXO, Nadine

Welcome to my world ツ

Hello everybody ,

first of all - words can't describe how excited I am to welcome all of you in my world and how it feels to type on my first blog. All I can say is -  WOW!

My name is Nadine , I am from Germany and grow up there in the beautiful capitol Berlin.
(By the way, if there are any faults I would like to ask you excusing this - I'm not a native speaker, english isn't my mother tongue...)

Spreading joy and living dreams.
Passionate for Fashion, Beauty, Interior, Design and Luxury.

Love to smile and wanna see people happy around me.
I guess, life is a chance, so everyone be sure to make the best of yours.

Welcome to my Blog. I'm really glad to see you stoppin' by on my page.Thank you so much!

Among other things, I've worked as a Make up Artist and Stylist in Germany, Berlin where I grew up. At the moment I'm working as a Shopping Assistant in the High Class Luxury Segment for wealthy clients.

I like to exchange knowledge and from time to time I'm an eye opener for others to the beauty of life.
I hope you enjoy my little "dreamworld"

And don't forget :
"Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child and the smiling faces.
Smell the rain and feel the wind.
Live your life to the fullest potential and fight for your dreams!"
( this is one of my favorite quotes) ...and I agree with it.
As a matter of fact, let me add : Live - Your - Dreams - Everyone!

But who I am...? and why this blog?
Since I was a tiny girl, I was fascinated on Make up, I loved fashion , I has been creating my own world by making costumes, loved to dance Ballett, loved to sing all the time (till now).

I would even describe myself as ambitious, determined, strong-willed, called active and communicative. I am a person who likes to laugh a lot and has a positive influence for a lot of people.
Again and again I like to set myself new goals which I implement.

In my opinion the most successful people are those who were once the biggest dreamer.

I say:  "In a dream it all begins, the own courage makes it real .. What we want to achieve, the key of what is possible, we keep it in our own hands. How delightful it is to make the trip in this wondrous adventure. The best dreams are the ones where you can see your own future.
"

As I said - it all starts with a dream, a vision, an idea that is manifested. This is what happened to me.

For a long time I've worked in the luxury segment. Even during my school years I've been involved in my father's wholesale company (import) , after a successfully completed education I switched over  to the Department Store of the Quartier 206's and was last known for L'Oreal Produit de Luxe in the KaDeWe for one of the largest Comstic counter with employees conducted responsibility.

I introduced successfully one of the Luxury Brands of L'oréal  on the German market. Furthermore I took coach activities and I was able to bring many independent ideas. I've worked as well as a Make-up Artist and offered a head-to-toe service to my clients.

I have been asked by companies and stores working for them, but I've decided I should do this self-employed.

From the experience in my father's company as well in the Departmentstores  I was able to take several things, including Creativity, organization and the trained eye for exclusivity and niche brands, as well head-to-toe service on high-class level.

What means luxury for us ...?

The word is based in Latin and means such as waste and luxuriant fertility.

A part of our society is thinking by luxury behaviors of expenses or equipment which go beyond the normal size and another part will have in mind an eye for beauty, pleasure, passion, something special, art, individuality.

For me personal - Luxury means  obsession and passion and zest for life.

But Luxury means also - having time. Time for private, time for leisure, time for family,  time for friends. Time is a precious good.

In this way my idea came out. Curious? If you are interested, please feel free contacting me

What else is there to say about me?

I love art, I love galleries and art openings, long time I've danced ballet, played music and sang. Music will always be a part of me - classic, R & B, Pop aso aso ...

Writing is a big part of my mind. Languages in general are a great instrument - German is my mother tongue, English I am fluent in and French?I can still rely on basic skills.

Affinity for the finer things for clear and  a special passion is still the motor sport and sports in general - very important for an active person like me. Otherwise, I'll read a good book or get together with friends to relax after a long evening.

This blog is trying to inform you about newest Trends, Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle aso.
You gonna find my as well on Twitter, Pinterest , facebook and Instagram.

In this sense,  I wish you all a great day, feel kissed by the sun and hopefully see you next time again. XOXO, Nadine
