CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN MAKES DREAMS COME TRUE

Christian Louboutin - once pronounced his name, heart beats are faster and eyes are more sparkling.
It's quite the same as we've  heard as a little girl the fairy tale of Cinderella.
To be honest, who didn't want to met the fairy godmother , wearing this precious blue dress, wearing the dreamy glass slippers , riding in a pumpkin carriage? I guess every little girl. Bibbidi-Bobbidi, Bibbidi - Bobbidi, Bibbidi-Bobbibi-Boo ♫ ♫

Cinderella is one of the most beautiful fairy tale princesses. Little girls growed up, but still waiting for her own Prince Charming - coming back with this precious glass slipper which means the world

The fairy godmother may have changed outwardly a bit, but her present to us is even more beautiful than what we have imagined in our wildest dreams.

She calls Christian Louboutin and designed the Cinderella glass Slipper for celebrating the re-release of Walt Disney's Cinderella on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Louboutin's press release describes the shoe as follows :

Delicate lace adorned with crystals gives these slippers an enchanting look.
Two sparkling butterflies rest prettily on the shoes, one landing on the vamp while the other sits closely behind atop of the crystal covered heel, gently brushing the ankle.
Louboutin’s signature red soles add the final dash of excitement as Cinderella’s slippers come alive.

Louboutin is a French shoe and bag designer, who was born on January 7, 1963 in Paris. He raised up in the 12 th arrondissement and is the only son of the family, together with three sisters.

During his early teenage years Louboutin has been fascinated by high heels. He discovered his passion for the first time during a visit to the Musée des Art Océaniens  by a sign which showed a crossed stiletto heel. This should prevent that female visitors could damage the valuable parquet with her high heels. The young Louboutin was captivated by the beauty of the shape of the shoe and began to copy this over and over again.

In the beginning of his career Louboutin tried to sell shoes to the ladies of the Parisian cabarets . He couldn't realize this because he had left money for it.

He studied at Charles Jourdan, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent  and opened later his first store near the Place des Victoires, which quickly became very popular.
One of his most famous clients since first hour is Princess Caroline of Monaco, followed by Diane von Furstenberg and Catherine Deneuve. The final breakthrough came by the collaboration with Neiman Marcus.

His single biggest client is Danielle Steele, who is reputed to own over 6,000 pairs and is known to have purchased up 80 pairs at one time when shopping at one of his stores.

His clients include all the celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lady Gaga, etc, etc.

His trademark are the red soles, which are identifiable asLouboutins immediately - almost recognizable as his personal signature. Only the bridal shoe collection  has a more subtle blue sole.

Louboutin says he wanted to create something that broke rules and made women feel confident and empowered.

Well done, it has succeeded.

May we be touched by the magic of his shoes for the following years, break more rules, provocate and enjoy being a woman and lady.

And who knows, maybe we get a request by shoe and not with ring of our prince charming.

Have a great time ,
Nadine  xoxo
